Danny is rallying his team around The Learning Tree, an Alabama non-profit organization that serves children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism.
Danny and his Today’s Homeowner crew are making interior and outdoor improvements at two homes that are part of The Learning Tree’s residential program. Danny and his co-host, Chelsea Lipford Wolf, are collaborating with volunteers and several youth served by The Learning Tree to teach them some new handy skills. From drywall repair to replacing lighting fixtures indoors to power washing and adding curb appeal outdoors, Today’s Homeowner will make sure these 2 homes are the best looking ones on the block!
This is the second community service episode that Danny is including in the Today’s Homeowner milestone 20th season for his nationally syndicated show. He is committed to in raising awareness about the impact of service in communities throughout the U.S. and encouraging others to get involved. The projects, camaraderie and spirit of service will air on a special “Helping Hands for a Cause” episode broadcasting nationally the week of April 23, to coincide with National Autism Awareness Month.
